3、ontrolalgorithmisnotsuitablefortheH.264codingstandard.Inordertosolvetheaboveproblems,JVT-G012proposedamethodofusingalinearpredictionalgorithmtopredicttheMB’SMADvaluesofthebasicunitlayer.Inthepurposeofratecontrol,QPvaluecallbecalculatedthroughMAD.But,therearestillsomeproblems
4、inthisalgorithm,whichincludesinaccurateMADvalueprediction.CoefficientoftheMADpredictionschemecanbe-updatedbylinearregression,whichcanbringlargeamountofcomputationcomplexity.Atthesametime,thealgorithmonlyconsidersthetemporalcorrelation,whichleadstotheinaccurateprediction.Awei

6、Wealsofmdthatsomevideosequenceshaveweaktemporalcorrelationbutstrongspatialcorrelation.Fourdirectionalspatialpredictionisproposed,includingvertical,horizontal,upper—left,upper-rightandwegivethemethodtochoosethesuitabledirectionalscheme.AfterwegetthetemporalMADvalueandspatialM
7、ADvalue,wecancalculatethenewweightedMADvalueoftheMBbythefeatureofthevideosequence.TheproposedweightedMADpredictionschemeistestedontheplatformofJM.Inordertomakemoreaccurateexperimentaldata,weselectsomesequencesofdifferentfeatures,notonlyincludingsomesimplesequencesandcomplexs
