2、emdforthemeasurementmethodsoftheerrorsofrotaryaxis,thethermalerrorsofhighspeedspindleandlinearmotorsystems.Thispaperbasedondouble—ball·bar(DBB)theoryandfoundthemathematicmodelincludingmaingeometricalerrorsandthermalerrorsofthe5-axismachinetools;andthermal—structurecouplinganalysisforhighspindl
3、eandlinearmotorsystemswasdone.FiveDBBmeasurementmodelsweredesignedfordifferenterrors.Lastly,theexperimentsofDBBfor5-axismachinetoolsweredone.Thefollowingin-depthworkhadbeencompleted.Thesynthesiserrormodelofhighspeed5-axismachinetoolswasfoundedbasedonhomogeneouscoordinatetransformationtheory,in
4、cluded4geometricalerrorsofC-aixs,thermaldrifterrorsofhighspeedspindleandgeometricalandthermalerrorsoflinearmotorsystems,thentheDBBmeasurementmethodwasfoundedaccordingtotheerrormodel.TheFEAanalysisforwholemachinetools.highspeedspindleandlinearguidewasdonebyANSYS,thetemperaturefieldofmachinetool
5、s,thethermaldistortionofspindleandlinearguideweregot,byapplyingthermalandstructuralloadsontheFEAmodels.ThemeasurementmodelsofDBBwasfoundedanddifferenttrajectoriesofDBBfordifferenterrorsweresimulated,including4geometricalerrorsofC-aixs,thermaldrifterrorsofhi【ghspeedspindleandgeometricalandtherm
6、alerrorsoflinearmotorsystems.111emethodforseparatingthegeometricalandthermalerrorsfromDBBdatawasproposedbasedontheclosedcharacteristicofthekinematicalchainof5-axismachinetools,thelocationerrorsofDBBcouldalsobeseparatedbyusingleastsquaremethod.Atlast,thevariationcul'vesofspindlethermaldriftinge
