3、99)(AcceptedNovember5,1999)AbstractDAu,Pt,Pd,RuandIrnanoparticleswithanarrowsizedistributionhavebeensynthesizedbychemicalreductionoftheircorrespondingmetalspeciesinethyleneglycol.Inallcases,theaverageparticlesizewasfoundtobesmallerthan10nm.Particlesizewasmainlycontrolledbyvaryingt

4、heinitialtotalmetalconcentration,thereactiontemperature,andtheconcentrationofPVP.WiththeexceptionofIr,metalparticleagglomerationandsinteringwaspreventedbytheadditionofPVP,awellknownprotectiveagentthatalsoaidsparticledispersion.?2000ActaMetallurgicaInc.IntroductionManyphysicalandch
