2、acurablestage.Technetium99m99m99m(Tc)-labeledVQpeptide(Tc-HYNIC-VQ)identifiedthroughscreeningphagedisplaypeptidelibrariesagainstfreshhuman99mcolonicadenomaswaspreparedandevaluatedfortumordetection.Tc-HYNIC-VQwaspreparedbyanon-SnCl2methodwithmorethan99%radiochemicalpurity.ThebiodistributionintheHT
3、-29tumormodelshowedthatalthoughtheabsolutetumoruptakevalueswererelativelylow(0.6060.09,0.4160.09,0.3660.18,and0.1960.08%ID/gat0.5,1,2,and4hourspostinjection,respectively),thetumoruptakewashigherthanthatofanyoftheotherorgansexceptforthekidneysatanytimepointexamined,whichledtothehightumortonontarge
4、tratios.Thetumorsandinflammationwereclearlyvisualizedwithhighcontrast.Although99mthemechanismofaccumulationofradiolabeledVQpeptideintumorsandinflammationneedstobefurtherinvestigated,Tc-HYNIC-VQisapromisingimagingagentfortheearlydetectionoftumorsorpremalignancies,atleastforscreeningpatientswithahi
5、ghriskofdevelopingcancers.8MOLECULARIMAGINGisoftendefinedasthedeaths.Thishighincidenceresultsfromthelimitationsofvisualization,characterization,andmeasurementofconventionalendoscopicscreening,whichrevealsonly9biologicprocessesatthemolecularandcellularlevelsinanatomicchanges.Moreover,flatlesionsor
6、lesions1originatingeitherfrompolyposissyndromesorfromhumansandotherlivingsystems.Bynoninvasivelycharacterizingtumorbiology,molecularimagingisnowinflammatoryboweldiseasesareusuallymissedbyroutineplayinganindispensableroleintumordiagnosis,therapyendoscopy,whichsignificantlyretardstheearlydetectionm
