6、rcisewithmoderntelemetricheartratemonitors,itismorepracticalandusefulforexerciseintensitydeterminationthanoxygenuptake,cardiacoutputorstrokevolume.RestingandmaximumheartratesandheartratereserveHeartrateatrestisdeterminedbyvagaltonus(parasympatheticnervoussystem)
