3、s.Asasiteofpowerstruggleandideologymanipulation,newshasalwaysbeenthefocusofstudieswithinthefieldofCDA.However,abriefreviewshowsthatmostofthepreviousstudiesfocusonpolitical-relatednewsornewsonsuchsensationaleventsaswar,disasterandsports,whileeconomy-relatednews,whichisconsideredt
4、obemoreneutralwithreliablefigures,hasnotbeengivenenoughattentionrightnow.Recently,someresearchershavebeguntoconductingstudiesconcerningeconomicnewsundertheguideofCDA.However,theuniversalityofgainedfindingsstillneedtobefurtherprovedbymoreresearchesduetothelimitationofCDAaswellast
5、heon-goingdevelopmentoflanguageandbroadsocialcontexts.Hence,onthebasisofpreviousresearches,thepresentresearchtriestoapplydifferentanalyticaltoolstoinvestigatetherelationshipbetweenlanguageandideologyreflectedinnewcorpus.Theauthorhopesthatthefindingscancorroborateandmakemutualcom
