3、sviews,toseekinformation,andtoexpressfeelings.Wemadeculturalchoiceswhenweareusinghumanlanguagetocommunicatewithotherpeople.Cultureshapesourideasandplaysacrucialroleoninfluencingourwayofusinglanguage.Atthesametime,languagecanalsobeconsideredasawindowtotheculture.Theyarecloselyconnectedwithea
4、chotherandcanneverbeseparated.Therefore,weshouldnotonlylearnlinguisticskillswellbutalsoknowmuchknowledgeaboutforeignculturesifwewanttoconqueraforeignlanguageandbecomeaneffectivecommunicator.Butthefactisthatmanypeopledidn’tpaymuchattentiontotheculturalbackgroundsandusedwordstocommunicatewith
5、othersinaninappropriatewayandinappropriateoccasion.Inthisway,thesocialpragmaticfailuresoftenoccurduringthecross-culturalcommunication.Becauseofthefierceconflictsbetweenthepopularityofcross-culturalcommunicationandthefrequentlyhappeningcommunicationbarriers,thefactorsaffectingcommunicationar
