6、lishteachers.Thisthesisisatentativestudyofimprovingstudents’readingproficiencyfromtheviewpointofthemeta-cognitivestrategytraining.Intheearlytimes,greatattentionhadbeenpaidtothestudyofvariousteachingmethodologiesinordertofindthemostefficientone.However,the
7、reseemedtobenowaynot.Foronething,noneofthemethodologiescanbesaidtobeperfect.Foranother,thereisnoperfectmethodologytoeveryone,ifstudentsarereallytreatedasindividuals.Itwasnotuntilthe1960sthatthefocusofresearchshiftedfrom"howtoteach"to"howtolearn".Forthefir
