3、mputationandcommunicationandpowerfulportablecomputingdevicesgivesrisetoopportunitiesfornewpatternsofdistributedcomputationthatrequirearevisedviewofdistributedsystems.Mobileenvironmentbringsdifferentchallengestousersandserviceproviderswhencomparedtofixed,wirednetworks.Mobi
4、litybringsuncertainties,aswellasopportunitiestoprovidenewservicesandsupplementaryinformationtousersinthelocationswheretheyfindthemselves.Amobileuserisonewho,onoccasion,disconnectsfromhis/herhomenetworktochangelocationandthenreconnects,possiblyusingadifferentaccesstechnolo
5、gy.Anecessaryfeatureofmobilitymanagementistheabilitytocontinuetoprovidesystemandnetworkservicestomobileusersseamlessly,regardlessoftheirlocationandtheformoftheirconnection.Ingeneral,mostapplicationsoftware,operatingsystemsandnetworkinfrastructuresareintendedformoreconvent
6、ionalenvironmentsandsothemobileuserhasgreatdifficultyinexploitingthecomputationalinfrastructureasfullyashe/shemight.TheInternetRoamingsolutionforcorporatewirelessdatausersintegratesmobilenetworkingacrossprivatewirelesslocalareanetworks(WLANs),publicWLANsandcellulardatanet
