2、s)versionsforusebyeithertelephoneorself-administeredmethodsareavailable.Thepurposeofthequestionnairesistoprovidecommoninstrumentsthatcanbeusedtoobtaininternationallycomparabledataonhealth–relatedphysicalactivity.BackgroundonIPAQThedevelopmentofaninternationalmeasureforphysicalactiv
3、itycommencedinGenevain1998andwasfollowedbyextensivereliabilityandvaliditytestingundertakenacross12countries(14sites)during2000.Thefinalresultssuggestthatthesemeasureshaveacceptablemeasurementpropertiesforuseinmanysettingsandindifferentlanguages,andaresuitablefornationalpopulation-b
4、asedprevalencestudiesofparticipationinphysicalactivity.UsingIPAQUseoftheIPAQinstrumentsformonitoringandresearchpurposesisencouraged.Itisrecommendedthatnochangesbemadetotheorderorwordingofthequestionsasthiswillaffectthepsychometricpropertiesoftheinstruments.TranslationfromEnglishand
