2、sfer.Nativelanguagetransferisanundeniablephenomenon.Nativelanguagetransfer,especiallynegativetransferofnativelanguageisalwaysconcernedbylanguageresearchersandteachers.Nativelanguagetransferisoftendiscussedinforeignlanguageacquisition.Itcanbedividedintotwokinds:positivenati
3、velanguagetransferandnegativenativelanguagetransfer.Positivetransferhelpslanguageacquisition.Contrarily,negativetransferhinderslanguageacquisition.Thisstudymainlyfocusesontheinfluencesonjuniorhighschoolstudents’Englishlearningcausedbynegativelanguagetransfer.BasedonJuniorH
4、ighSchoolEnglishCurriculumStandardsforstudents’Englishlearningandthetheoryoflanguagetransfer,thisstudyinvestigatesthestatusquoandtrendsofjuniorhighschoolstudents’mothertongue’snegativetransferinEnglishlearningandconductsastatisticalanalysisoferrors.Byreferringtothenumerous
5、examples,thestudyfindsthattherearealargenumberofphenomenaofmothertonguenegativetransferinjuniorhighschoolstudents’Englishlearning,mainlyintermsofphonetics,grammar,vocabulary,lexis,syntax,chapterstructure,cultureandwaysofthinking.Thisthesisintroducestheessence,definition,ty
6、pesoftransfer,thetheoreticalbasisandthenreviewsthedomesticandforeignresearchabouttheinfluenceofnativenegativetransferinEnglishlearning.Theresearchdesignwhichcontainsstudyquestions,subjects,instrumentsandprocedures.Thentheresultofthequestionnaireisanalyzedandtheerrorsresult
7、ingfromChinesenegativetransferaccordingtothesamplesintheeducationpracticeareclassifiedandanalyzedinthreeaspectswhicharelexicalerrors,grammarerrors,andcultureerrors.Hence,thepaperisplannedtoinvestigateandanalyzestudents’mistakeswhichresultfromnegativetransferofthenativelang
