1、一、課程說明1.課程性質(zhì)《英語泛讀教程》是英語專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段教學(xué)的一門必修課，同時也是使學(xué)生大量接觸英語讀物和培養(yǎng)閱讀能力的一門實(shí)踐基礎(chǔ)課。2.課程目的和任務(wù)旨在通過一定量的閱讀實(shí)踐來提高學(xué)生的理解能力，在閱讀速度、詞匯量等指標(biāo)上達(dá)到規(guī)定要求，并增加對語篇結(jié)構(gòu)、語境和語用理論的感性認(rèn)識、提高語言鑒賞能力。閱讀雖然是一門訓(xùn)練學(xué)生單項(xiàng)語言技能的實(shí)踐課程，但它和旨在提高綜合運(yùn)用語言能力的《綜合英語》課程相輔相成，也是其它單項(xiàng)語言技能課程在詞匯、語法、理解和文化知識等方面的基礎(chǔ)課程。3.適應(yīng)專業(yè)本課程適應(yīng)于英語專業(yè)一、二年級學(xué)生。二、課程內(nèi)容Unit
